October is a month of changes, which seems particularly apt for me this year. The weather here has been in the 90’s right up through last week – too hot in my opinion – so this week’s quick change to chilly, breezy days is welcome. The leaves are already starting to turn, making the drive to school a little prettier every morning. After a chaotic, change-filled summer, September for me was all about getting settled into a new house, and now October will be about getting settled into a new job, which I’m incredibly excited to start. So many changes, but they’re good changes.
Enjoy these beautiful first weeks of fall. Get outside as often as you can. And celebrate each and every day.
